The Tamkine Foundation for Excellence and Creativity is pleased to announce that Professor Rachid Benmokhtar Benabdellah has been appointed as its Honorary President.

This appointment reflects the natural alignment between the Foundation’s bold ambition and the distinguished journey of a man whose lifelong commitment to education, innovation, and human development has profoundly shaped public policy in Morocco and beyond.

A former Minister of National Education and Vocational Training (on two occasions), former President of Al Akhawayn University, and member of the Hassan II Academy of Sciences and Technology, Professor Benmokhtar also served for eight years as a Member of the United Nations Committee of Experts on Public Administration, a role for which he was officially recognized by the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs.

His expertise has been sought by leading international organizations such as UNESCO, the World Bank, and the Club of Rome, making him a global voice for an education system that is inclusive, rigorous, and future-oriented.

His presence alongside the Foundation strengthens its already well-established mission to transform education through quality, innovation, and equity. It also reinforces the strategic vision behind the Tamkine Equation for the Qualitative Improvement of Education, and the digital ecosystem co-developed with TamTech Solution, the Foundation’s strategic technological partner.
