On this day dedicated to the women of Africa, the Global Movement of Pan-African Women Leaders (MMFLP) celebrates the history and origins of the African Women’s International Day (JIFA).
Established in 1962 during the first Conference of African Women in Dakar, JIFA highlights the essential role of women in the socio-economic and cultural development of the continent. It is a reminder that African women are pillars of change, innovation, and resilience.

To mark this occasion, the MMFLP is hosting an online dialogue conference with its partners, under the theme:
