Professor Brandon J. Price is a leading figure in global biotechnology, combining scientific research, entrepreneurship, and higher education.
Holding a PhD in Biophysics from the University of Michigan, he has held senior leadership roles in companies such as Cardinal Health, Goodwin Biotechnology, Cognate Therapeutics, Oncometa Pharmaceuticals, and GalenBio, and played a pivotal role in taking BioReliance public.
An entrepreneur at heart, he has founded multiple companies and innovation centers across the Americas, fostering links between research, innovation, and economic impact.
In parallel, he has contributed to knowledge transfer, holding the Ben J. Rogers Chair in Entrepreneurship at Lamar University, teaching at Virginia Commonwealth University and Universidad Panamericana, and mentoring future scientific leaders.
Professor Price also engages in innovation ecosystems, serving on boards, co-chairing major biotech initiatives, and receiving recognition such as “Biotechnology Leader of the Year” in Virginia.
